I can't view the links on this computer, but I have recently read things about global warming and biofuels. Global warming (i.e. the earth's climate changing) does happen, but as for humans causing it, that's a myth. Human contribute less than 1% to global warming, the rest is from the oceans and the sun. Many real scientists are actually saying that we are peaking and about to head toward a global cooling, or ice age. There is actually a lot of evidence against global warming, but it would be political suicide to acknowledge that. Here's some background on where this craze originated. As for biofuels, they actually are wrose for the environment than regular gasoline. Two main reasons: 1. They provide less energy, therefore, you need to fill up more often, and burn more. 2. Creating them creates more carbon than they are supposed to eliminate. Not to mention, it's bad for your vehicle (that means more maintenance, and buying new cars sooner). Read some of the ethenol facts here. All of the evidence here comes from pro-ethenol sources, and yet it is damning.

Global warming is just a tool for politicians to gain power. Even a former Canadian prime minister (I forget which one) said Global warming is just an excuse to bring on socialism. I was watching a program on PBS and they let slip that claciers in Alaska have been receding for 400 years. But they still talked as if it was caused by man. Don't get me wrong, I hate polution. There have been several times when I went to Los Angeles and the smog was so bad that I got a sore throat. There are fish here in California that have chemicals in them and you can't eat more than 4 oz per week. We are polluting this planet that Father Yahweh has given us. We have been very bad children. But global warming is just a scam. Lee

Global warming by people is a scam. But, the globe does warm, just not by our hand. We are insignificant.
Yeah, the arctic glaciers have been receding, but what they fail to tell you is that the antartic is growing at a faster rate that the arctic is shrinking, and that ocean levels have actually receeded, rather than increase, as would be expected with "global warming." We are on our way to a "globabl cooling" if anything.
Another common sense/logical thing that people forget about. Plants thrive with CO2 and thereby increase O2. The more CO2 we spit into the air, the more plants will flourish (a good thing) and they will then clean up that air and give us O2. It is natural equilibrium. Yahuweh designed the planet to take care of itself, because we (as a people) can't do it. Although, we do all have a responsibility to be good stewards of what Yahuweh has given us.
