could you explain to me how hy', which the KJV translates as 'to' becomes 'she'?

The KJV is outright wrong. hy' can mean she or that, but scribed here as a third person feminine pronoun makes she the most accurate rendering. The Hebrew for to is la, not hy'

I wonder why the Holy Spirit is always referred to as he, him, masculine...where did that come from in the English translations?

The translators were men translating on behalf of power hungry men in societies that oppressed women.

Just a guess.

The spirit is always presented in the feminine in the Hebrew text, why translators universally ignore that I don't know.
