Is Jn 21:24-25 extant in the oldest manuscripts, or is it of questionable origin? People say that Yahowsha "did so many other things, which were 'preserved by Sacred Tradition', etc.

"This is the disciple who is bearing witness to these things, and who has written these things; and we know that his testimony is true. But there are also many other things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written." (Jn 21:24-25)

It appears that at least part of those verse are extant in 1 old manuscript. P109. If you would like to see a transcription of what is extant of it, Swalchy has posted transcriptions of most, if not all, of the ancient manuscripts at his site. http://www.thewaytoyahuw...slations/ancient-papyrus

What does this mean?

שיהיה לַך יום נעים (sheyihiye lach yom na'im)

My Catholic friend sent it to me in respose to our conversation about the ONE COVENANT.

What do you say to folks who insist that there are many covenants: the Noahide Covenant, the Abrahamic Covenant, the Davidic Covenant, etc.? I've replied by sending copies of Psalm 119 where it describes the 'one family Covenant'.

Thanks!

My response is where are these covenants talked about. The only covenant mentioned in relation to Noah was a covenant with the world that he would never again flood it, and as far as I know there is never a covenant, other than The Covenant, spoken of in relation to Dowd.

It sounds like they are clinging to the religiously created concept of sispensationalism. Again the reply to that is where is it in Scripture.

Abraham's covenant is the only one that has relationship and salvation.

Check out Strongs #1285

Use " The New Strong's Expanded Dictionary of Bible Words (book form) ".  I have found logos has left out a lot of Strongs information.
