I am grateful to Mr. Winn for his incredible works. I started reading PoD and have been reading ever since. Thank you, Sir!
I'm not a scholar and know very little about the "bible" and I have a question concerning one passage. Tonight, I came across:
Yada Yahweh Book VI : God Damn Religion The Church Age
Chapter 6 Laodicea - The People Legislate
The Laodiceans made a desirable fabric from the wool of black sheep. Their garments were soft, sleek, luxurious and obviously black. With their emphasis on looking and feeling good, it should be no surprise that Laodicea provided world class health care. Medically, they were famous for mixing chemicals to cure diseases. But these "enlightened" men of Laodicea, these physicians, swore allegiance to the serpent god Asklepios - the Satanic spirit we first observed in Pergamos. Today's international symbol for medicine with its intertwining serpents is derived from this miscast loyalty.
Maybe this is covered somewhere else, but I thought that the 'snake on a stick' was from the time of Moses.
From Wiki:
The Nehushtan (or Nehustan, Hebrew: נחושתן or נחש הנחושת), in the Hebrew Bible, was a sacred object in the form of a snake of brass upon a pole. King Hezekiah (reigned 715/6 – 687) instituted a religious iconoclastic reform and destroyed "the brazen serpent that Moses had made; for unto those days the children of Israel did offer to it; and it was called Nehushtan." (2 Kings 18:4); the Masoretic text does not in fact say so, but rather "he [Hezekiah] called it Nehushtan".[1] The Priestly source of the Torah says that Moses used a 'fiery serpent' to cure the Israelites from snakebites (Book of Numbers, chapter 21:4-9), though the tradition of naming it Nehushtan is no older than the time of Hezekiah.[2]
Just wondering what implications are.... thank you.

Interesting story.. "Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live." Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live. I also found this link in wiki.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_of_Asclepius and it does mention the Nehushtan from Moses time, but it refers to it as a "similar story".. So perhaps it was first introduced by Yah in Numbers to heal the people, but then later the idea was used as a symbol and was corrupted and associated with false gods. I would bet there is deeper meaning in the scripture verses, such as the snakes being one of Halal's symbols..

Yes, I thought it was an old Greek symbol or something along those lines. I thought that the "snake" in Scripture always referred to Satan. When I came across it's use in NUMBERS, I was shocked.
I hope someone can shed some light on this...

Welcome to the forum vic108! Yada addressed your question in today’s (August 12th, 2011) YY Radio show. He had some awsome insights on Numbers 21. Listen here: http://radio.yadayahweh.com/Shabbat Shalom, Mike

I thought "ladder" was a noun ... now it's a verb? eH, your response sounds as though you believe you're responding to a spammer. It's funny, but what if Xsnoopx is for real? Or am I missing something here? |

See, you are still learning brother...Laddering cd's is as old as money.
As far as the, advise goes, are you anymore certain than I am about, xsnoopx? Would you inject yourself into a forum about a website without intruducing yourself to the site first? Once you have read the site, advise is not needed b/c you just got all the advise you were needing to begin with...hmm..does that make sense?
