The Missile Defense Agency, which is part of the Defense Department, now features a circular red, white and blue logo on its Web site that has been characterized in some reports as "scarily" similar to President Obama's former campaign symbol. Others have noted that it has a crescent and star design, evoking a common symbol for Islam.

Crazy!

But a lot of logos aren't designed by intention, because some people just draw a pretty little picture without realising their subconcious had mentally photographed an image some time before, and while drawing their mind brought that image to the front. The guy probably associated the military with the "war on terror" which made him think of Islam, and without realising it he started to put Islamic signs together. Plus not being clued up on symbology added to the fact he drew without thinking. Or a Muslim designed the logo, I wouldn't be suprised if it was a humanist either.

You should watch the video clip by Derren Brown called Subliminal Advertising, it's really good.
