Yada said something about searching the universe before being called back when Yahshua returns in 23 years. Where exactly in Yada Yahweh is this covered? Is it Scriptural based?

Visitor,

I think this is Yada's speculation but I see where he gets it from.

Read Book 1, 1 Hayah - Existence starting at page 8.

Therefore, our only hope of exploring the universe is to become greater than
we are and eternal like our Creator. And when that happens, we will embark on a
grand voyage. There are over 100 billion galaxies, each averaging 100 billion
stars. Many, if not most, are replete with solar systems, planets, and moons. So
when we are born anew in Spirit, and like light can travel through time, we will be
able to explore the vastness and brilliance of Yahuweh’s creative genius. Since
Scripture tells us that we will become like God and be light, we will experience
the photon’s perspective, where from its point of reference while traversing
enormous distances (186,282 miles per second) it appears to travel no distance
and takes no time to do so.

Read Book 1, 5 Eden - Joy starting at end of page 20/ beginning of page 21.

One of the lessons we learn from this verse, is that while “joyous, delightful,
pleasurable, satisfying, and restful,” paradise wasn’t about being idle. Adam had a
job, a purpose, something to do that needed to be done. And that’s wonderful
news. Lounging around for all eternity isn’t my idea of a good time. I want to
learn and to explore the universe, to be productive and useful—something samar,
“pay attention and observe,” used in harmony with ‘abad, “work and serve,”
suggests will occur.

I find this so ironic, that Atheists reject God in the quest for scientific knowledge, especially in studying the origins of the Big Bang (or trying to worm their way out of the obvious), yet it will be us believers who get to really understand the origins and see the vastness of the universe. And hopefully being witnesses to Yahweh creating the next universe after this one has served its purpose.

I recently watched the latest Star Trek film (2009 release) and I must say it was really good. I'm in the process of watching all the ST movies now. I'm not a trekkie though ;)

Thanks Mike for your response. The question I have is: if life exists only here on Earth, what is it exactly that we are going to be exploring?

"You are not in Kansas anymore, you are on Pandora!"

Just kidding ;)

Even if there was no other form of life I'd still be interested to see the rest of the universe, I personally enjoy galaxy formations.

Well, I personally would love to explore the billion or so galaxies. It would be like exploring Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon multiplied by seventy times seven. One thing is for sure, it wouldn’t be boring, especially with our Father there to explain everything.

We hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim last year.

Looking forward to not doing it on foot, next time!
