Scientist Ray Kurzweil claims humans could become immortal in as little as 20 years' time through nanotechnology and an increased understanding of how the body works.

haha... less than 20 years for us though... lol... maybe...
Truth is like sandpaper. When you run across it, it can do one of 2 things: grind you down into nothing, or polish and refine you.

Oh, that is SO WIERD. Nanotechnology, is it? Well, they keep claiming that we who believe in Yahweh have little tiny brains. Funny how the focal point for paradigm shift keeps hovering in the neighborhood of 2033.

If they took out the nanotech part, it would be accurate. It is an interesting that their are so many paradigm shifts on the 2033 horizon. We advance more and more, and it is really just advancing us to our destruction.
Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

Shabbat Shalom,

We all know where immortality is... not these guys who can't even avoid spewing toxic chemicals into the environment killing us and the environment slowly. Nanotech... as one who keeps a close watch on tech, I doubt if they can get anything to tie their showlaces together properly let alone heal the body. Many scientists think that the appendix is a vestigial tissue and has no purpose, but only now are they realising that it may serve as a repository for friendly bacteria. So the problem is not only in developing nano machines, it is also in understanding the human body.
The reverence of Yahweh is the beginning of Wisdom.
