I found this video online and wanted to get the reaction of forum members:

Where Is God When It Hurts?

Stock market crashes and financial ruin, Auschwitz, cancer…where is God when the world seems mad and the pain is unbearable? Think It Thru host Dr. Brown has some ideas and so do some people he ran into on Wall Street in New York City.

Shabbat Shalom,

Always liked Dr Brown's messages. This one is a bit vague as it basically says not to think about the present hurt but to claim the future's promises through the Messiah. Still hard to put to someone sorely afflicted with pain and suffering. Although it is the reality, could we not also say that pain and suffering is caused by man because man abandoned The Creator? And in so doing lost the best friend man could ever have? And that we are responsible, not Him? It won't take the pain and suffering away but it is a start to reconciliation. Gives a better perspective and eases the mental and spiritual pain and a potential for the physical hurt to heal, I'd think.
