Unless it is completely unreadable I don't think you should. As long as the reader can get the correct tense / context - it should as it is. This means people will use it more than rely on it as a translation... |

I'm comparing some of the interlinears you did to the "Alfred Marshall" KJV interlinear you recently recommended to me. I noticed yours give four lines -- blue, green, black, and red. Just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly -- the blue is the early manuscript, the green is the root word in Greek, black the English, and red the Strong's?
I've been pondering placeholders. Specifically, I'm looking at 2 Yahuchanon, verse 3.
You show IY as a placeholder for the root Greek Iesous, and translate (transliterate?) Yahushua.
You show XY as a placeholder for the root Greek Christos, and translate Messiah.
Naturally, Marshall uses Jesus and Christ.
I'm sure this is probably covered elsewhere, but could you briefly explain (or point me to) why this is Yahushua Messiah, not Jesus Christ? (I'm no Greek scholar, but I see where Iesous Christos looks like Jesus Christ...)
