'Huge year for natural disasters'

The past year has been one of the most devastating ever in terms of natural disasters, one of the world's biggest re-insurance companies has said.

According to the article, there's now a name for all of that: "climate change." Yes indeedy.

Haha!

Man seems to realise he's doing wrong on earth but has failed to realise that it's his sin against Yah that's the real problem. I get quite annoyed when they say Mother Nature gave them this beautiful place rather than saying God, the Creator, gave them this beautiful place.

Which is interesting, because Climate change I think will also be something that unites the world...

Shalom,

Will climate change unite the world? Nah, I think not, Robski... humans will probably disappear from the world before we can all agree on anything in toto. Gaia -- like all other false names, this name shall one day be removed form the lips of everyone.
The reverence of Yahweh is the beginning of Wisdom.

I think my tongue-in-cheek remark about climate change may have flown right over a few people's heads. What I was talking about was a practically universal change in the global spiritual climate. We have moved from "every man doing what was right in his own eyes," which is bad enough in Yahweh's sight, to "every man not giving a flying fig whether what he's doing is right or not, as long as it gives him some kind of short term personal gratification." Apathy toward Yahweh is giving way to outright hostility... that's spiritual climate change. The signs of the last days that we're seeing with more and more regularity are merely the result of man turning his back on the true God: the beginning of sorrows.

Flew over mine as well.

But it is a 'climate' change I can believe in. I don't like it, but is absolutely real and certainly man-made.

And what is a flying fig anyway? ;-)
“Because he clings to Me, is joined to Me, loves and delights in Me, desires Me, therefore I will deliver him, carry him safely away, cause him to escape from harm making him inaccessible and strong, and delivering him safely to heaven, because he has known, observed, cared for, recognized, instructed and advised others to use, designated, acknowledged, discerned, answered in, My name, authority, character, report, mark, and nature." So focused on the practical application we forget the spiritual implication. Does that make sense?

Yup, In His Name, this is definitely Change We Can Believe In!

Shalom,

Looks like the cleansing has started early... Also read a report that seismic activity at Yellowstone has increased dramatically. Now THAT is scary! A single supervolcano like Yellowstone can just about terminate a third of all life when it blows. Even scarier? How about two supervolcanoes!? Lake Toba in Sumatra, where the tectonic plates are pushing into each other, may also wake up to deliver a one-two punch to drive men and all life to the edge of extinction.
