I quite like this forum layout, it's simple and clean, whereas a lot of other forums have too much going on and it gets somewhat annoying.

most users ever online...
I saw 204 online the other night. Does this automatically update at some point? |
“Because he clings to Me, is joined to Me, loves and delights in Me, desires Me, therefore I will deliver him, carry him safely away, cause him to escape from harm making him inaccessible and strong, and delivering him safely to heaven, because he has known, observed, cared for, recognized, instructed and advised others to use, designated, acknowledged, discerned, answered in, My name, authority, character, report, mark, and nature." Hi all,
Sorry I didn't see this error earlier, but there was nothing I could do about it anyway. It was caused by an outage of the database at our hosting facility.
Admittedly, the YAF software should have posted a more elegant error message, but the result would have been the same.
And if someone wants to seriously evaluate another forum application, I'm all ears.
Sincerely, The Forum Admin

That Simple Machines one checks cool, they have a number of themes to use, can even create one's own. I like the minimal approach though, I can't stand cluttered forums. I quite enjoy this forum, minus the bugs obviously, but my only wish is that the recent posts section on the main page should have a few more posts listed. Matthew

I have installed, configured and "theme-ed" phpBB for two different customers. Dozens of users, no issues, no complaints. (Running on Apache + Linux, not ISS + Windoze!) And this post would not be complete without a reference to the ASCII substitution cypher: B i l l G A T E S III 66 +73 +76 +76 +71 +65 +84 +69 +83 +3 = 666 |
