I was reading an article about clergy sexually abusing members (adults and children alike) and the last sentance of the article summerizes the general problem with religion:

This was a very good article - thanks Icy.

I've been trying to read a little Scripture everyday, and one theme (message) that keeps coming through is the importance of seflf-discipline & control. I wonder why it is that the very men who profess a closeness to and mastery of "Holy Writ' have not mastered this very concept themselves?

Could it be that the 'writ' they've been reading, ain't so 'holy?'
