Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the religous seem to start speaking the Kings English (thou art speaketh ) when they begine to misquote scripture or when they do thier public (sometimes very public) prayers. Its really crazy and this is really sort of a humorous topic I hope others here can have some fun with.

The thing that cracks me up is that several of the most popular English translations of the Qur'an are in the King's English, complete with thees and thous. Book of Mormon---same thing. The devil must think we're stupid, as if when you speak in a dialect four hundred years out of date it somehow makes you "holy." Good grief.
