As a rookie, I am putting facts together to support/prove that we must use the original name of YAHWEH and no other names.
In my search I have noticed that in the commandment,

Deut 5:11
11 ‘You do not bring the Name of יהוה your Elohim to naught, for יהוה does not leave him unpunished who brings His Name to naught.

the word 'naught' is translated from the word 'shav' which can be translated as 'false' as used in Deut 5:20 and more specific as 'false idols' as in Ps 31:6, Jer 18:15 and Jo 2:8.
Would it be misinterpreting the scriptures if the verse also supports the following meaning:
'Do not support/present/aid/assist/cause to bring a false (idol) name of the Name of Yahweh ?

Thanks for this magnificent forum!

Welcome, Perwee. I think YHWH was telling us not to take His Name once we discover He's our Creator and Father and share, and too, not bring it to naught by offering up a different name for Him.

Yirma'yahu/Jeremiah 23: 27,28
27,Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

28,The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith YHWH.

You're welcome..) After reading my 1st sentence I should be saying, "forgive me."
I can butcher a sentence faster than lightning.
I wanted to try and relay that, once we learn that God does have a Name, we shouldn't think
He revealed it to us alone. That we should share with others in fellowship.
I just walked in from talking with a christian who works for MD anderson here in Houston.
He has seen many miracles at work and I didn't deny him that, or what he believes.
All I did was share Gods real Name and told Him how one comes to understand His promise.
After listing a few sites, YY and BY, I told him to please, as a baptist this will scare you at first.
To just settle down and ponder and meditate on what you are hearing for the first time.
Then try to finish reading it, all of it, and they hit me up with what ever questions you have.

While looking again at the Beryth chapter of Yada Yah, I noticed this Ezekiel 20:38, and wondered if this was another way of putting the third statement that Yahowah carved in stone:

“And I will completely purge, wanting to totally eliminate (barar – I will choose to remove entirely from existence (scribed in the perfect conjugation, telling us that this purging and removal will be total and complete, consecutive, demonstrating volition, and in the first person singular, ascribing this act to God)) from you those who choose to rebel audaciously (min ha marad – from you those who consciously resist and boldly disobey My authority, who oppose, strenuously and aggressively attacking, especially in the venues of religion and politics) and also those who are openly defiant (wa ha pasa’ – and those who transgress, violating My instructions and moral code, rising up in clear opposition to My authority and standard, offensive sinners and criminals) against Me from the Land (by min ‘erets – against Me from the material realm and earth). These fear-mongering usurpers (magowr – these unauthorized foreigners temporarily living as aliens who promote animosity and fear, the very mind, heart, and soul of fear), I will take them out (yatsa’ ‘eth – I will cause them to go away). Onto the soil (‘el ‘adamah – upon the ground) of Yisra’el (Yisra’el – individuals who strive, live, and endure with God), they will not return or be included (lo’ bow’ – be associated). And You will know (yada’ – you will acknowledge, respect, be familiar with, and understand) for certain that (ky – truly and surly), I Am Yahowah (‘any Yahowah).” (Yachezq’el / God Grows / Ezekiel 20:38)

While listening to the second hour of the February 2, 2015 show, the conversation touched on Hitler's Mein Kampf, and the atrocities spawned by that evil mindset. As apparently an atheist, I'm pretty sure that Hitler would not have done all he did in the name of a god whose name he did not know, and even denied his existence, and instead lifted up, promoted, and enforced his deadly, destructive, ruinous delusions in his own name, and his own claimed authority. The same seems to be true of communist, socialist, and other Marxist dictators, and all those brutal Roman emperors. I doubt a single one of them said they did what they did in the name of Yahowah, but in their own names. But it can certainly be said that each of them "rebelled audaciously", and were "openly defiant". If Ezekiel 20:38 is another way of saying the Third Statement, could it be that each of those monsters, by claiming to BE a god, inherently claimed and used Yahowah's authority (shem) to lift up, advance, promote, and enforce their deadly, destructive schemes, and that's how they'll be condemned? I can't imagine they would avoid the consequences of their egregious atrocities just because they never claimed to be doing so in Yahowah's name, which they despised and denied, anyway.
And let's not forget all the Roman Catholic Popes. I doubt a single one of them ever said, "...in the name of Yahowah..." as justification for their deeds. But by claiming Yahowah's authority, even under a different name, and using that claimed authority to promote, enforce, etc. their own rulings, is THAT what makes them guilty of show' in the shem of Yahowah?
Ha Shem? I'm kind of fond of Ha Shemp, Ha Larry, and Ha Moe myself. And the earlier shorts with Ha Curly.
