I had always looked at these words of Yahushua as being parallel, until it struck me that 'the way' (Torah) leads to the Truth (of YHWH) which in turn leads to the Life (as Yehudim).

I cannot justify this at the moment, but it is my practical experience of these words.

One must then put the words into the greater context :-

"I (Yahushua) am the way, the truth, the life - no one gets to the Father except through me".

Torah is dead without Yahushua - we see this in mainstream Judaism

Without Yahushua there is no truth - the whole of creation becomes a lie without Yahushua

and thus there is no life - only death and separation from YHWH

Sorry if this is obvious :-)

Well said J&M

Your words also remind me Messiyah Yahushua is the eternal Word of Yah made flesh, revealing the undimished Yahuweh (or heavenly Father). The Scripture leads a person to point where they can know about Yah and then choose to enter into beriyth/covenant relationship and Yada/relationally know Yahuweh and accepting His set-apart and maternal Spirit enjoy eternal and abundant life.
