Have you seen the latest from EWTN? It kind of reminds me of one of those `Star Wars` movie posters. Yada attached the following image(s): |

Hectic picture Yada!
Two questions: 1) What is the symbolism of Mary (Astarte in this case) doing standing at the entrance to a dark cave? 2) Who is he lady on her knees, is that Mary praying to God or is that a woman praying to Mary?

Yeah, look with the apparition of Obi-wan in the top left, and the Emperor Palpatine in the bottom right! |

Did you guys notice the T (Tammuz) symbol over Mary's abdomen?
Hmmm... Does the T symbol really link to Tammuz or can it also be linked to the symbol of an upright post with a crossbeam? In the case of the photo I think it links more to Tammuz.

Shalom,
Just wondering... if a priest of Tammuz or Mithra came back to life today whether he'll be surprised that the garb and traditions have not changed...? |

Dear Friends,
Is Miriam really the "new Chawah"? As Catholics call her "The New Eve".
Thanks, Lassie1865

Thanks, Lassie1865 I would say no. The elevation of Miriam to the status the Catholic church has her, is entirely due to their pagan influence. Her role is relatively minor in scripture. She was Yahushua's mother in a biological sense, but beyond that she has no greater significance than anyone else who is mentioned in the Renewed Covenant. Unless scripture says she is "the new Chawah" then I'm not going to elevate her to that. Personally I see no significant parallels between Miriam and Chawah. |
Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

Here's the latest from EWTN. It looks like "St." Augustine is having a bit of a problem balancing himself on that little cloud. Yada attached the following image(s): |

Awww... give the guy a break, will ya! With all that heavenly traffic going by him I'm surprised he has not fallen back to earth already! But tell me... how does one stay up in the clouds looking down on earth and feel comforted if they can really see and understand what's happening here on the ground? |

Shalom,
I guess fish hats were the in-thing back then... and even now. But this is not just about Mariology, is it? |
