I was listening to this fella, (syzygy job), on the radio and he said most major quakes occur during the time around the vernal and autumnal equinox's, (equnii? hahaha). This guy has an extraordinary quake prediction accuracy, something better than 75%.
He was spot on by predicting the Loma Prieta, ('89 World Series quake), four days in advance. Here's his bio http://www.syzygyjob.com...amp;id=13&Itemid=27.
You'll notice that he worked for the USGS which was not at all pleased with his predictions, (especially the accuracy). He was told no more predictions on company time-or else.
What I find fascinating is that he maintains anybody can accurately predict quakes. Although planet alignment in conjunction with tide tables contribute to his prediction criteria, one of the best indications of a quake are lost/missing pets. It seems that the number of classified ads for l&m pets zooms off the charts just previous to a quake. Kitty and Fido seem to know when it's time to get outta Dodge...
If not us, who? If not now, when?

We were at sea, on a cruise ship off the east coast of Cuba, when the earthquake hit. The tsunami did hit our ship, but it was not noticed as we were in deep water and the seas were pretty rough. The rough seas were due to the previous week's cataclysmic weather event (strong Nor'wester blowing for an entire week!) Who knows what will happen next week!?!??

An irreligious Messianic minister friend of mine has a sister who is a missionary to Haiti. She reports that the voodoo high priest scarifies a pig in the capital building every 20 years, with government approval. His conclusion is that the repeated natural disasters are not 'natural' at all. Rather they are super-natural results from this behavior that YHWH takes a very dim view of.

A little more research reveals this "smoking gun".

My friend's sister reports that the Bwa Kayiman ceremony at the Bois Caïman was repeated in 1991 (200 years later)

Here is a quote from the article linked to above:
Quote:
Boukman Dutty was a self educated slave born on the island of Jamaica, his first name on the island means "book man", his last name means "dirty". He was later sold by his British master to a French plantation owner after he attempted to teach other Jamaican slaves to read, who put him to work as a commandeur (slave driver) and, later, a coach driver. His French name came from his English nickname, "Book Man," which some scholars have interpreted as meaning that he was Muslim since even in Africa a Muslim was referred to as a "man of the book": "It is likely that Boukman was a Jamaican Muslim who had a Koran, and that he got his nickname from this.

Maybe this is just coincidance but something to ponder.

CHILEAN EARTHQUAKE AND ITS PALESTINIAN CONNECTION
Chile hosts the LARGEST community of Palestinians outside of Israel. This community is located between Concepcion (the epicenter of the Chilean earthquake) and the capital of Chile, Santiago, which lies north of Concepcion. According to wikipedia, Concepcion has a "twin city," which usually means a sister city in some way, such as through trade agreements or partnerships. Concepcion has listed as a "twin city," Bethlehem in Israel.

I personally don't recall seeing a twin hurricane/cyclone before but I am not a meteorologist.

South Pacific hit by cyclones

Tomas, a category four storm and bigger than Hurricane Katarina which destroyed New Orleans, is one of two powerful tropical cyclones that have formed in the South Pacific.
Ului, a category five storm, has brushed the southern Solomon Islands and is heading toward Australia but is expected to remain off the coast of the continent for at least the next few days.

Widespread power blackout hits Chile

Santiago, Chile (CNN) -- Much of Chile was in the dark Sunday after a blackout knocked out power to 90 percent of the country, CNN's sister network in the country reported.
The blackout was caused by an overheated transformer in the Bio Bio area, the country's minister of energy, Ricardo Rainien, told CNN Chile. Rainien said crews were slowly restoring power, and he expected electricity to be fully restored by midnight Sunday.
