Well we will be having presents with the kids over the 7 days, building a tent in their bedroom and having some family over to try and speak to them about it all :D |

Is Tabernacles happening right now? i feel so out of the loop... when did it start, and when does it end? |
Truth is like sandpaper. When you run across it, it can do one of 2 things: grind you down into nothing, or polish and refine you. |

I don't have much planned as of yet, just got back from a long weekend away, and the wife is still recuperating from an op.
However, a Messianic Jew that I know told this weekend that Yahshua was born and the 1st day and circumcised on the 8th day of Tabernacles! I thought that was pretty awesome and does make complete sense.

Shalom,
Happy Tabernacles! We are celebrating it by taking a holiday in Phuket, Thailand. Brought lots of YY material to read and listen! Having relatively good meals compared to the usual and getting some new clothes tailored and going to a spa. Basically renewing the spirit, calming the mind, enjoying food and healing the body. Finding food to eat is a challenge but we are hopeful that someone will ask us why we do not eat what everyone else wants to eat in this place! |
The reverence of Yahweh is the beginning of Wisdom. |

My first time celebrating. But my 5 year old daughter and I decorated our dinning room with a shelter made from bamboo covered with branches from trees from outside and for a nice effect we put white solid lights ("christmas" lights). we have 16 foot ceilings so the 8 foot shelter is noticeable. Its very cool, every time we enter the dinning room we are reminded of the shelter that Yahweh provides. It is cozy and comfortable.

That's really cool Marcus, I like that idea. |
