Seems to me the whole 2012 thing is a setup. When nothing happens but more of the same old crap, the scoffers are going to come out of the woodwork, saying "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” Or something like that. Years later (maybe), the rapture and the Tribulation will catch them totally flat-footed. Wolf!
