Yada Writes:ITG, 3A-Teaching, pg 95
This next statement affirms that Yahowah, in the form of Yahowsha’, will facilitate the promise of Passover so that we might live with Him. “Yahowah (), your God (‘elohym), He (huw’) will actually be Passover (‘abar – He will really pass over (scribed in the qal relational stem, affirming that this promise represents something which will actually occur, and as a participle, which makes ‘abar – pass over, function as a verb, an adjective, and a noun, telling us that Yahowah will pass over and that He is Passover)) on behalf of (la – to direct, facilitate, enable, and affect) your presence before (paneh – your appearance, face to face, in front of) Him (huw’).” (Dabarym / Words / Deuteronomy 31:3)
I just don't see it.
My ISA says: The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, [and] he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: [and] Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.
Can someone help. Doesn't seem to say Yah will be Passover...

'abar litterally means to cross or passover, it carries with it conotations of forgivness and taking away of guilt, as well as extended and leading. Based on this Yada believes that this is an allusion to Passover. |
Don't take my word for it, Look it up.

Hi Glfnaz. First, Yada's quote is only the first part of the verse "The XXXX thy God, he will go over before thee", the rest of the verse is not in his quotation. (And your ISA is not trustworthy since it can't even find the courage to use Yahowah's name. ) I also had reservations about this translation at first reading. I thought it was out of context to view it as Yada did. But when I went back and read it in context it seemed obviously true, but it is speaking to a different layer of understanding than the factual account of crossing the Jordan River. As James says, Yada's translation speaks of the allusion to Passover. The entire Exodus story is the ongoing story of the Israelite reconciliation and salvation into the millenial promised land. And layered onto that is the story of the covenent family's salvation into the Home of Yahowah. And all of this is Yah's Way, the path of the miqray. Yah is power of Passover, Yahoshaw is the passover lamb Yah allowed and facilitated the destruction; of the first born; of the nations; of sin. Yah crossed over into the promised land before us, as Yahoshaw.

Thanks IHN Making better sense for sure. In the meantime I have emailed Yada. Hope I get his response. If I do I will share it. Also wish I had a better translation program. A couple kids in college makes it tough to buy the Logos program.
