I watched the Jonah Code and was intrigued by the Michael Rood's ability to time and overlay the sequence of events against a timeline spanning centuries that prophetically aligns.
The amazing aspect is that the sign of Jonah and how Yahushua meets the sacrificial requirements described in Leviticus 23 clearly narrows the timeframe or what years that this could occur. To occur in any other manner, is not possible nor does it agree with Scriptures.
Yahushua ha Mashiach stated:
But He answering, said to them, “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah. For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Adam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:39-40)
What the church teaches and practices... (It does not agree with Scripture and in some years, Easter precedes Passover by as much as a month, complicating the timeline of events)

Monday
Tuesday - The Last Supper (not Passover) - Arrested
Wednesday - The Preparation Day and Passover- Tried, Impaled, and Died - Buried before sunset
[1st night in the heart of the earth]Thursday - High Shabbat (starting sunset Wed) First Day of Unleavened Bread
[1st day and 2nd night in the heart of the earth]Friday - Second Day of Unleavened Bread
[2nd day and 3rd night in the heart of the earth]Saturday - Third Day of Unleavened Bread - Weekly Shabbat
[3rd day in the heart of the earth]After sunset, on the morrow after the shabbat, the beginning of the First Day, Yom Reshon, on the third day, He rose again and was presented as the First Fruits to the Father.
Sunday - Fourth Day of Unleavened Bread - Yahushua had already risen, at sunset the previous night.
According to Scriptures, this is what occurred, not what is practiced today in the church.
- Daniel stated the Messiah would be cutoff mid week, he was on Wednesday.
- Yahushua, the Lamb of Elohim would take away the sins of the world, He was the Passover Lamb (he couldn't partake in Passover).
- As he died, He said "It is finished!" as he, the final Passover Lamb was sacrificed, ending the Sacrificial System in the Torah. Yahushua did not change or disobey the Torah, He fulfilled it.
- He was the Bread of Life, taking on sin for us, he became leavened, and all leavened bread must be removed before sunset, starting the Passover Supper and the First Day of Unleavened Bread.
- As sacrificed Passover lambs are put into the oven, He was buried prior to sunset leading to the First Day of Unleavened Bread (a High Shabbat as referred to in John 19:31).
- As the First Fruit of Man, He was presented to the Father as the Wave Offering on the morrow after the shabbat, the Weekly Shabbat.
Sadly, not all Messianic Congregations practice First Fruits and the Counting of the Omer in accordance with Scriptures, opting to follow the Jewish Orthodoxy. The pharisees later changed the actual presentation day from the "morrow of the shabbat", that is the Weekly Shabbat, to the "morrow of the shabbat" at sunset following the High Shabbat of the First Day of Unleavened Bread. In some sense, I think it was to defeat the possibility of Yahushua being the Messiah, by denying that He was the Son of Yahuweh, the Lamb of Elohim, the Bread of Life, and the First Fruits of Man.
So in watching the Jonah Code, it reaffirms what occurred on that fateful week. As for the demise of Damacus, what is prophetically foretold in Isaiah, will occur... If the timeline is correct, and I believe to be, we could very well be living the last week of Daniel's Seventy Weeks. There are prophetic events yet to unfold in these last seven years, the question is not if, but rather how will they unfold???
Look up, redemption draws near...
Blessings and Shalom in Yahuweh and Yahushua ha Mashiach, TR

| Reason: Revision to church timeline, it still doesn't add up to 3 days and 3 nights.
